Another off the beaten path battle, but well worth the trip.
I reached out to Mokhov to see if he wanted to be a part of this site. Usually when you cold call someone out of your league you just don’t get a reply. Mokhov was gracious enough not only to respond but to give me a few insights on how he makes/masters his music.
Pretty impressive he’s start to finish on his laptop, and I’m amazed how clean his tracks come out for being so dense and effect soaked.
..oh and Kartell is pretty ill too. French-Funk-House, is that a genre? I had a hard time choosing between Pantera and Love Strike. That one has a sprinkle of Daft Punk.
